Feiler plays well in rematch against Tribunes

ROCHESTER, NY – In Wednesday's rematch against Monroe Community College, the Herkimer Men's Basketball team lost 71-67.

The Generals (7-3, 3-0 MVC) were looking to avenge an eight point loss to the Tribunes to start their season, but only had one player score in double figures. Jonathan Feiler (St. James, NY) had another double double against Monroe, finished with 34 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. It helped his team in the second half, seeing the Generals outscore the Tribunes 35-32. However, Monroe outplayed Herkimer in the first half, outscoring them by seven points (39-32).

Other contributors for the Generals on Wednesday were Wendall Williams (Syracuse, NY), RaShawn Collins II (Harlem, NY), Enson Garcia (Bronx, NY), Julio Galay (Bronx, NY), Jason Foden (Dolgeville, NY) and Jerrell Hunter (Utica, NY). Williams had nine points, three rebounds, seven assists and three steals; Collins II had eight points, one rebound, one assist and one steal; Garcia had seven points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals; Galay had five points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal; Foden had two points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal; Hunter had two points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal.

The Generals next basketball game is two days away. The team will travel to Onondaga Community College to take on the Lazers for the first time this season.
