HERKIMER, NY – In their last home game before a couple day stretch on the road, the Herkimer Generals men’s basketball scored their most points in a game this season, 110, en route to a 44-point victory (110-66) over Schenectady County Community College Saturday evening (1/17) in the varsity gym.

Herkimer (14-2, 7-1) never trailed the Royals throughout, collecting their eighth consecutive win at home in the process. Helping the team to that feat was a number of players, seeing 12 score.

Leading the way was forward Ken Woodard (Bronx, NY) with a season-high 22 points. After him, Jamell Johnson (Rochester, NY) scored 17, Carson Murphy (Mohawk, NY) had 14, Dantre Langhorne (Greenport, NY) had 12, Daniel Owens (Albany, NY) had eight, Julio Galay (Bronx, NY) had six, Mike Santillo (Mohawk, NY) had six, Kainan McCarthy (Mohawk, NY) had six, Felix Riascos (Poughkeepsie, NY) had five, Jallah Tarver (Schenectady, NY) had five, Eli Huggins (Bronx, NY) had four and Brandon Thomson (Long Island, NY) had two.

The Generals next game is against Cayuga Community College on Monday (1/19). The Spartans are losers of their last seven games, with three of them coming against Mountain Valley Conference teams. Herkimer is scheduled to play Cayuga at 2:30 p.m.
