Logan Receives Full Athletic Schlorship To Bowl For Alabama State University in Fall 2010

Herkimer County Community College senior Jennifer Logan, Fredonia, NY, has been awarded a full athletic scholarship in women’s bowling from Alabama State University.

Logan has been HCCC’s top female bowler for the past two seasons, averaging in the mid 180’s. In 2009, she was an All-American and placed fifth at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Tournament. Most recently, she earned three first place awards (singles, doubles and overall) at the Spartan Invitational in Auburn, NY. Head coach Shawn Noel said, “This is what Jenn wanted, to continue bowling at the next level. She got there because of her hard work and dedication.”

Logan is expected to be one of the top transfer recruits for head coach Andy Chatmon’s Hornets. A Division I university in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), Alabama finished the last season with an overall record of 4-9
