Fall Baseball Meeting Scheduled; 2010 Players Get Ready for New Chapter
Herkimer baseball has scheduled a meeting for Wednesday September 2nd at 9:00pm in the Varsity Gym for all players looking to participate in Fall Baseball. In order to participate in fall baseball, interested players must have a physical turned into the school nurse by September 1st.
Herkimer has added a few key additions to the team for 2010. Early commitments from players such as Justin Payne, Jamie Barr, Eric Verbickas, and Cole Marozek will now be joined by a group of former Proctor High School players in power hitting Vinny Gaetano, speedy Devin Warmack, Mike Scotellaro, and Salem International transfer Joe Perrota. Local standout Pat Shepardson from Little Falls as well as players from as far as Alaska to Florida will join Herkimer for 2010. All Conference players Luke Branch from Coconut Creek Florida and Andrew Wixon from Fairbanks Alaska will both be attending this season. Transfers Chris Padilla, Brendan Tyrrell, and Jason Hogan will all look to make an impact in 2010 as well.
