Herkimer Takes Two From Broome on the Road

Matt Gonyea went 6 innings striking out 6 and allowed no walks and 3 hits in game 1. All American Ty Folli went 2-4 in his first game back from injury. Kris Barone, Nate Sanzo, and Ron Patterson went 2-3 in game 1. Andy Eggleston pitched a complete game (5 inning mercy rule), striking out 8 hitters and improved his record to 3-0 on the season. George Hajjar went 4-4 in game 2 with 3 RBI’s. Kris Barone went 2-3 in game 2 as well, improving his average to .574. Herkimer has allowed 3 runs and scored 42 runs in the last 24 innings.
