Generals Drop Second Straight Game

DII Essex CC would plate two runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to take a 7-6 lead in Wednesday's 9 inning game in Baltimore. Herkimer would leave runners on second and third in the top of the 9th as Essex closed the door on Herkimer's attempted comeback. Nate Sanzo was 2-4 and has had multiple hits in all 5 games so far this season. Sanzo is carrying a .526 batting average so far this season. Amar Lewis was 3-5 at the plate with 2 doubles on the day.
