Herkimer Baseball Captures NJCAA Region III Division III Title

The Herkimer men's baseball team defeated Hudson Valley CC 10-4 to win the Region III Division III Baseball championship.  Brett Hauber was named tournament MVP.  Kris Barone, Al Ferenti and Brandon Jones were named to the all tournament team.  Herkimer advances to the NJCAA Division III Baseball National Championship tournament in Tyler, Texas beginning May 22.  Herkimer will play the their first game on Saturday, May 22 beginning at 7:00 pm CST (6:00 EST) vs. the District B winner.
