Herkimer Baseball Takes Two On The Road; Tyrrell Perfect In Game 2

George Hajjar hit his 3rd homerun on the season in the first inning of game one and Amar Lewis added his 3rd homerun in a towering shot off the top of the scoreboard at East Field as Herkimer took game one 12 to 3. Kris Barone went 3-4 with a double and a triple and Lee Foxton went 2-3 with 2 runs batted in.  Herkimer then took 13 walks at the plate and rode a perfect game, 8 strikeout performance from lefthander Brendan Tyrrell as they took game two 27-0.  Vinny Gaetano hit his first college homerun in game two.  George Hajjar continued his breakout season at the plate going 4-8 with 7 runs batted in which included 2 doubles and a homerun.
