Herkimer Baseball's Jones and Foxton Named NJCAA All-Americans

The NJCAA has named Brandon Jones (Stuart, FL) 1^st Team All American for the 2010 season.  Jones hit .463 with 14 doubles, 4 doubles, and a school record 9 homeruns with 55 runs batted in and 19 stolen bases.  Lee Foxton was named to the 2^nd Team All American for 2010 as he posted a .400 average with 16 doubles, 4 homeruns, and 47 runs batted in.  Both players were a huge part of Herkimer’s run to a 3^rd place finish in the 2010 NJCAA DIII World Series. “I am so proud of both of these very deserving student athletes.  They both worked so hard to be impact players for us this year and to have them achieve such a high honor is a great learning tool for future student athletes in our program.” stated Head Coach Jason Rathbun.
