Men's Hoops Ends Semester with a Win

The HCCC men's basketball team concluded the fall portion of their schedule with an 89-85 victory over conference rival SUNY Delhi in Herkimer. Rhamel Williams had an outstanding game scoring 28 points to go along with his eight steals.

Jimmy Pitts contributed 20 points, including three thunderous dunks and 10 rebounds.  Freshman reserve guard Josh Ramirez brought Herkimer back from an early 15 point deficit by scoring all eight of his points in a three minute span late in the second half.

The victory runs the Generals overall record to 10-4, 4-1 in the Mountain Valley Conference. They are currently ranked third in Region III.

The men return to action after the holidays on January 4 at Cayuga Community College at 3:00 p.m.
