Generals Come Back to Down Hornets

The Herkimer men's basketball team broke a short two game losing streak with a come from behind victory over Broome Community College Tuesday evening in Herkimer, 72-61. Rhamel Williams lead the way for the Generals with 20 points, eight rebounds, and eight steals. Kevin Kucel added 13 points and seven assists. Steve Campbell came off the bench to add 14 points from the center position. Herkimer was down 28-20 at halftime. The victory runs the Generals record to 9-4, good for third place in the 17 team Region III standings.

Herkimer concludes the first half of their season Thursday evening at home against Mountain Valley Conference rival SUNY Delhi. Game time is 7:00 pm.
