Generals Win Fourth Straight

The HCCC men's basketball team extended their winning streak to four games with a 103-82 victory over Mountain Valley Conference rival Schenectady County Community College on Tuesday night at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany.  Kevin Kucel scored a career high 37 points, 25 in the first half, to spark a 30-4 run for the Generals who were down by as much as 13 points in the first half.  Kucel also contributed six rebounds and five assists.  The front line of Rhamel Williams, Akeem Ellis, Steve Campbell, Jimmy Pitts, and T.J. Abounader combined for 50 rebounds to limit the Royals second chance points.  Williams and Pitts finished with 17 points each.  Campbell added 13.
