Generals Extend Streak to Five In a Row

The HCCC men's team stretched their winning streak to five games with a come-from-behind 61-60 victory against SUNY Delhi in Delhi Sunday afternoon.  The Generals went on a 16-7 run in the final seven minutes to get the victory.  Akeem Ellis had 19 points and a season high 18 rebounds to pace the attack.  Rhamel Williams contributed 12 points and nine rebounds.

The victory brings the men's record to 13-4, 6-1 in the Mountain Valley Conference.  They are in second place in both Region III and the MVC.  The Generals return to action on the weekend taking their annual northern trip to upstate New York to face North Country Community College in Saranac Lake on Saturday at 2:00 and Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh on Sunday at noon.
