The Generals Cruise to Eighth Straight Win

The Men's basketball team opened up a 22 point halftime lead and then cruised to a victory against Elmira College JV 70-42 in Herkimer Thursday evening.  Rhamel Williams lead the Generals with 17 points in 17 minutes of action.  Kevin Kucel added 12 points and Cliff Brown chipped in with 10.  Akeem Ellis lead the rebounding with 10.  The victory extended the Generals' winning streak to eight and improved their overall record to 16-4.  They remain ranked #13 in the country in the latest NJCAA poll.

The men face #3 ranked Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday at 3:00 when they will attempt to avenge an early season loss to the Vikings.  Fans are encouraged to arrive early as a packed house is expected for the battle for first place in the Mountain Valley Conference.
