Herkimer Cruises to Another Victory; Coaches Support Coaches vs. Cancer

Akeem Ellis had 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead a balanced scoring attack in an 85-60 win for the Generals Tuesday night in Herkimer. Kevin Kucel and Rhamel Williams had 15 each, Cliff Brown had 14, and Josh Ramirez had 12 to pace the team. Kucel also added to his Region III assist lead with eight. The victory moved the men to 19-5 in Region III and 10-2 in the Mountain Valley Conference. They are ranked #8 in the nation in the latest NJCAA poll. They are second in Region III to #3 Hudson Valley.

Herkimer County Community College and Fulton Montgomery Community College men's basketball coaches participated in Coaches vs. Cancer efforts by wearing sneakers with their suits.  The annual activity is part of a month-long cancer awareness effort. .
