Generals Continue to Win; Campbell Adds 13 Point in Victory

The Generals opened up the Mountain Valley Conference portion of their schedule with a 70-66 come from behind victory last night in the HCCC varsity gym.  Behind by seven with six minutes left in the game, the team went on a 13-0 run sparked by a clutch 3-point field goal by Reggie German to put them ahead for good.

The Generals were lead by Steve Campbell's 15 points and Kevin Kucel's 13 points and six assists.  Shawn Simmons was the spark in the first half coming off to the bench to hit three 3-pointers in a two minute time frame.  Simmons finished with 11 points.  Akeem Ellis added nine points and lead the team with seven rebounds.
