Herkimer earned a hard fought 52-46 victory over Delhi last evening in Delhi.  The victory extended the Generals' winning streak to 11 games as they closed out the first semester at 11-2.  Akeem Ellis had an exceptional game scoring one half of the points with 26.  He also added seven rebounds and five assists.  His three point shot with one minute left gave the Generals the lead for good.  Cliff Brown added 14 points and Ian Austin-Michaud had 11 rebounds and seven assists.  Darien Thomas had a key bucket with 22 seconds left in the game to seal the victory.

Herkimer, ranked #5 in the country and #1 in Region III, will return to the floor on January 3 to take on Cayuga C.C. in Auburn.  The coaches, players and managers wish all of their wonderful friends and families a great holiday season and a happy new year.
