Herkimer Men's Basketball Chalks Up Another Victory

The men's basketball team improved their record to 13-2 with a 79-49 victory over Mountain Valley Conference rival Clinton Community College Saturday afternoon in Herkimer.  The victory runs the General's winning streak to 13.

Akeem Ellis lead the way for the Generals with 15 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.  Steve Thompson scored 10 and added nine rebounds.  Rhamel Williams had 10 points, six rebounds, four steals and three blocks and Josh Ramirez sparked Herkimer with 10 points off of the bench.

On Thursday the men travel to Division II power Orange Community College in Middletown before returning home on Saturday to face Division I power Globe Institute.  Game time on Thursday is 6:00 p.m.
