Herkimer Men's Basketball Squeezes Orange On The Road
The Men's basketball team extended their winning streak to 13
games with a 72-57 victory over NJCAA Division II power Orange
Community College last night in Middletown. Rhamel Williams
lead the way for the Generals with 15 points, 14 rebounds, five
assists and four steals. Matt Baldwin had a career high with
17 points on 5 of 9 from three point range. Darien Thomas had
13 points and 10 rebounds off of the bench to spark the
Generals.
The victory brings HCCC's record to 14-2. They are currently
ranked #1 in Region III and #3 in the country. They return to
the floor to take on Division I powerhouse Globe Institute of
Technology on Saturday. Game time is at 3:00 p.m. in
Herkimer.
