Herkimer Men's Basketball Wins Second Straight Game; Brown Scores 17 Points
Herkimer men's basketball continued their early season good play
with a 96-47 victory over Adirondack Community College Friday night
in Glens Falls. The Generals had seven players in double
figures including leading scorer Cliff Brown with 17 points and
Gloversville freshman Matt Baldwin with 13. Akeem Ellis, Jerome
Floyd and Brown all added eight assists and senior transfer Ian
Austin-Michaud chipped in with nine rebounds. Brown also lead
the way with five steals. The victory improves the Generals
to 2-0 in Region III and the Mountain valley Conference.
Tuesday the men host arch rival Hudson Valley Community College at
8:00 p.m. The team will also hold the final activities for
Breast Cancer Awareness Month. President Anne Marie Murray
will make the ceremonial first toss to start the home portion of
the season.
