Herkimer Men's Basketball Silences Another For 16th Win In A Row

Herkimer jumped out to a 37-16 halftime lead and was never headed as they cruised to a 76-50 Mountain Valley Conference win over SUNY Delhi Friday night in Herkimer.
Cliff Brown lead the way for the Generals scoring 16 points on 7 for 9 shooting and adding six assists. Matt Baldwin chipped in with 12 points on four threes. Off of the bench, Darien Thomas added 10 points and seven rebounds and Reggie German scored nine. Akeem Ellis lead the Generals with 12 rebounds. The defensive effort was again lead by Ian Austin Michaud as the Generals held Delhi to 30% shooting.

Herkimer extends its winning streak to 18 games with the victory. They are ranked #3 in the country.

HCCC returns to the floor Sunday afternoon at home against Columbia-Greene C.C. Game time is at 1:00 and will be proceeded by a Wheelchair basketball game at 11:00 a.m. featuring the Sitrin Stars taking on the HCCC baseball and softball teams.
