Herkimer Men's Basketball Pulls Off Victory; Struggles To Put The Ball In The Basket

The HCCC men's basketball team notched their 19th consecutive win with a 55-40 victory over Columbia Greene Community College Sunday afternoon in Herkimer.

Cliff Brown lead all scorers with 16 points.  Rhamel Williams chipped in with 12.  Akeem Ellis lead the Generals with 13 rebounds and Ian Austin-Michaud had nine points and eight boards and was instrumental in returning Herkimer to the top of the defensive ranking in the NJCAA.

HCCC returns to the floor Tuesday night as they begin a four game road trip when they take on Mountain Valley Conference rival Fulton Montgomery Community College in Johnstown.  Game time is 7:00 p.m.
