Herkimer Men's Basketball Continues Winning Ways; Down Lazers On The Road

HCCC ran its winning streak to 21 games with a 65-50 victory over Onondaga Community College last night in Syracuse.  Akeem Ellis, Rhamel Williams and Ian Austin-Michaud combined for 41 points and 33 rebounds leading to the victory. All posted double doubles with Williams snaring 13 rebounds and Austin-Michaud scoring a season high 20.

The Generals broke open the game by holding OCC scoreless for the first 10 minutes of the second half and allowing only 10 points until the 3 minute mark with the game safely tucked away.

The Generals return to the road Saturday to take on Columbia-Greene Community College at 1:00 in Hudson.  Herkimer is once again, this week, ranked #1 in Region III and #3 in the country.
