Ellis and Austin-Michaud Lead Herkimer Men's Basketball To Another Victory

The Generals scored their third straight victory on Tuesday defeating Finger Lakes Community College 75-37 in Canandaigua.  Akeem Ellis and Ian Austin-Michaud lead a balanced scoring attack with 15 points each. Austin-Michaud dominated the glass with a season high 19 rebounds.  Rhamel Williams added 10 points and five boards and freshman Darien Thomas chipped in with eight points and five rebounds off of the bench.

The Generals record has been adjusted to 3-2 as they had to forfeit their first two games due to a administrative error.  They won those games by 50 and 49 points.  They are ranked ninth in the nation in the latest NJCAA poll.

The men return to the court Thursday to face Broome Community College at 8:00 p.m. in Binghamton.
