Herkimer Men's Basketball Keep Winning Streak Alive On Road; Ellis Posts Triple-Double

The HCCC men's basketball team ran their record to 6-2 with an 88-63 victory over Corning Community College Sunday afternoon in Corning.  The Generals were paced by Akeem Ellis who posted his third career triple-double with 11 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.  Rhamel Williams scored 25 points on only 16 shots and added eight rebounds and seven steals.  Cliff Brown had an all-around productive game with 17 points,six rebounds, four assists, and five steals.  Ian Austin-Michaud followed suit with nine points, seven rebounds and six assists.

The Generals finish up the toughest part of their 30 game schedule with their fifth game in eight days as they take on Finger Lakes Community College at home at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.  They have won the previous four including a resounding 75-37 victory at Finger Lakes last Tuesday.
