Herkimer Men's and Women's Team Go For Regional Championship Title This Weekend; Men Seeded #1 and Open On Friday at 1:00 pm; Women Face Mohawk Valley In Opener On Friday at 8:00 pm. All Games Will Be Webcast Live
Men's and women's basketball region III brackets have been announced.
All men's regional games will be played at Jefferson Community College in Watertown, NY. HCCC is the number one seed. They will begin regional play at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 26 against #8 North Country Community College. If Herkimer wins on Friday, they will play again at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 27 against the winner of #4 Hudson Valley Community College/#5 Schenectady Community College. Regional finals will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 28.
All women's regional games will be played at Cayuga Community College in Auburn, NY. HCCC will begin regional play at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 26 against #2 Mohawk Valley Community College. HCCC's women are the number seven seed. If they win Friday, they will play at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 27 against the winner of #3 Cayuga Community College/#6 Finger Lakes Community College. Regional finals will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 28.
