Men's Lacrosse Advances to Regional Championships This Weekend

The Herkimer men's lacrosse team started out slowly, but finished strong to defeat Jefferson in this evenings sub-regional game.  Herkimer won 19-11.  Herkimer will now advance to the Region III Championships this weekend hosted at Herkimer County Community College.  The #3 Herkimer Generals will face #2 Hudson Valley Vikings Saturday, May 2 at 4:30 p.m.  This will be a rematch of a grueling grude match that took place on April 23 in which Hudson Valley squeezed past Herkimer winning 15-14.
