Herkimer Wins; Hoch Nets Seven Goals

The Generals won 14 - 9 against Broome C.C. to improve to 10 - 3 and remain undefeated in Mountain Valley Conference play.

Herkimer was paced offensively by captains Doug Hoch with 7 goals, 1 assist and JP Finn with 3 goals, 3 assists. Freshman Mat Thompson had 2 goals, and Tom Szevin and Andy Jamieson had 1 goal and 1 assist each. Jeff Seager had 3 assists while Jordan Duffy and Dan Lawson each had 1 assist.

Herkimer's defense had a good game led by Wayne Best, Jeff Battaglini, Matt Daigle, Mike Cobb, Pat Sullivan and Zac Pasko. Danny Solazzo had another great showing with 23 saves and Bentray Reed finished the game with 6 saves.

Herkimer's face offs were taken by Christain Quinn, Spencer Smith and Joe McGrath winning 15 of 27.

The Generals play at home this Thursday against Hudson Valley C.C. at 6pm.
