Generals Rally Late to Beat Delhi

Herkimer Men's Lacrosse team rallied in the second quarter to beat SUNY Delhi 18 - 7. Goalies Danny Solazzo and Bentray Reed combined for 20 saves in the win.

The Generals were paced by the face off men, winning 21 of 25 face-offs. The offense was led by freshman Andy Jamieson, who finished with 1 goal and 7 assists. Captain, JP Finn had 3 goals and 5 assists fresh off of an injury. Mat Thompson and David Limbouris added a hat-trick each in the win, while freshman Brendan Murphy had his breakout game with a pair of goals. Also scoring for the Generals were AJ Vittorio, Dan Lawson, Tom Szevin, Jeff Seager and Christian Quinn. Freshman Keigan Scharnberg had 3 assists coming off the bench and Wayne Best a defenseman also had an assist.

The Generals are now 8 and 2 overall and play Genessee C.C. at home Thursday at 4pm.
