Herkimer Wins 7th In a Row as it Beats Rival Mohawk Vally

Herkimer defeats Mohawk Valley Community College 13 - 6 to win their 7th straight game to remain unbeaten in Region III & in Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference play.

Mat Thompson of Akwesasne, Ontario had 5 goals and 2 assists and Dan Lawson had 3 goals and 5 assists. Doug Hoch, Jeff Seager and Jordan Duffy all had 1 goal each in the win.

The Herkimer defense kept the ball quiet in their end with strong performances from Jeff Battaglini, Matt Daigle, Wayne Best, Zac Pasko, Hakta Garrow and Mike Cobb. Dan Solazzo had 17 saves in the goal for the Generals.

The Generals improve to 7 - 1 overall and look ahead to this Saturday where they take on Region III rival Onondaga C.C. at home in Wehrum Stadium at 3pm.
