2008 NJCAA Division III National Champions!!!

Dallas, TX: The Herkimer Men's Soccer team won the NJCAA Division III National Soccer Championship. They defeated Triton College by a score of 2-1. Trition scored first early in the game to take a 1-0 lead. The Generals fought back and tied the game at 1-1 when Joeski Williams put the ball in the net with the assist from Corey Phillips late in the second half. Then with 2:30 remaining in regulation Corey Phillips scored the game winning goal for Herkimer with the assist from Lee Martins. This is the 7th National Championship for the Men's Soccer program at Herkimer and 4th for Head Coach Pepe Aragon.
