National Championship Teams Honored by Congressman Arcuri

U.S. Representative Michael A. Arcuri (D-Utica) visited Herkimer County Community College Monday, February 23 to present President Ann Marie Murray with copies of the Congressional Record statements honoring the HCCC Men's Soccer and Women's Track Teams on their National Championship victories. The men's soccer team won the national soccer championship on November 9, 2008 with a 2-1 victory over Triton College at the tournament hosted by Richland College in Dallas, Texas. On May 2 & 3, 2008 the women's track and field team won the national tournament held at SUNY College of Technology at Alfred.
