U.S. Representative Michael A. Arcuri (D-Utica) visited Herkimer County Community College Monday, February 23 to present President Ann Marie Murray with copies of the Congressional Record statements honoring the HCCC Men's Soccer and Women's Track Teams on their National Championship victories.

The Herkimer Men's Soccer team won the NJCAA Division III National Soccer Championship. They defeated Triton College by a score of 2-1.

The Herkimer Men's soccer team took one step closer to becoming the NJCAA Division III National Champions. The Herkimer Generals defeated County College of Morris (NJ) 2-1 in overtime.

Men’s soccer coach Pepe Aragon was inducted, as a player, into the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Soccer Hall of Fame on Friday, November 7 at the NJCAA Division III National Soccer Final Four banquet in Richland, Texas.

Guarin graduated from HCCC in December 2007 and currently attends NCAA Division I University of Harford, where he was named team captain in his first year. HCCC men's soccer coach Pepe Aragon said, "Ivan is one of the classiest student-athletes that I have ever coached."

Aragon to be Inducted to NJCAA Soccer Hall of Fame
Herkimer County Community College men's soccer coach Pepe Aragon will be inducted, as a player, into the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Soccer Hall of Fame. As a student athlete at Herkimer, Aragon was a two time all-American (1989 & 1990) and led his team to a national third place finish in his senior year.
