Men's Soccer Wins 19th Straight Region III Title

The Herkimer County Community College men's soccer team (18-3) won the Region III championship against Alfred State 5-0 for their 19th consecutive regional championship and 20th title in 21 years. Defenseman Demetrius Lawrence, forward Kariym Balthazar, and midfielder Sean Trinidad were named to the All-Tournament team. Lee Martins was named Tournament MVP and Region III Player of the Year. The Generals will travel to Richland, Texas to compete in the NJCAA Division III National Championship tournament next weekend.
