Men's Soccer Honored by Hall of Fame

The Herkimer County Community College men's soccer team was honored by the National Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum in Oneonta, N.Y. on Sunday March 8. The team was recognized for winning the 2008 NJCAA National Championship."What an honor and experience it was for our coaching staff and players to receive an award in the museum surrounded by the world's soccer history," said men's soccer coach Pepe Aragon. Also recognized by the Hall of Fame on Sunday were Broome Community College's women's soccer team and three high school state championship teams, the boys team from Hamilton and girls teams from Edmeston and Marathon.
