Eight Straight For Herkimer Men's Soccer; Remain #1 Team In The Nation In Latest NJCAA Poll

Tonight at Wehrum Stadium the Herkimer men's soccer team beat the SUNY Delhi Broncos 6-0.  The win improves the Generals to 8-0-1 on the season.  

Freshman Cristian Parra and Troy Antonacci scored their first collegiate goals of the season.  Parra scored off a corner kick from freshman Mike Roopchandsingh in the 14th minute.  Antonacci  scored off an indirect kick from freshman Chet Johnson in the 35th minute.  Senior GK James Taber recorded his fifth straight shutout of the season.  The Generals improve to 8-0-1 and are ranked #1 in the NJCAA national poll for the fifth straight week.  Herkimer will host Finger Lakes CC Thursday at Wehrum.  Kick-off is at 7:00pm
