Cribley, Balthazar and Taber Named to NSCAA All-American Team

                   

Three Herkimer County Community College men’s soccer players have been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Performance Subaru All-America team. 

Freshman midfielder Ted Cribley (Sheffield, England) earned first team honors. Cribley finished the season with three goals and 16 assists for the Generals, totaling 22 points.
Senior forward Kariym Balthazar (Trinidad & Tobago) and senior goal keeper James Taber (Liverpool, NY) both earned second team honors. Balthazar finished the year as Herkimer’s leading goal scorer with 16 goals and 13 assists. He also finished the season ranked eighth in the country for total points with 45. Taber had a goal against average of 0.50 in 21 games and recorded 13 shutouts.

Head coach Pepe Aragon said, “I am extremely proud and happy for all three of my players. To have three Herkimer players represented on the 24 man All-American team is an incredible honor.” The honorees will accept their awards at the NSCAA National Soccer Convention in Philadelphia, PA on January 16.
