Pre-Season Opens Up For Men's Soccer

The men's soccer team opened pre-season Thursday, August 13th at Wehrum Stadium.  Players arrived from all over New York State, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut and England.  The Generals will host 2 pre-season games Friday, August 21st at 6:00pm vs. SUNY Cortland and Sunday, August 23rd vs. SUNYIT at 9:00am.  Herkimer will open up the regular season by hosting the Coliseum Soccer Club Classic August 29th and 30th.  The Generals head coach Pepe Aragon returns 8 letter winners from the 2008 National Championship team.  "We have great senior leadership to go along with a very talented freshman class." Said Coach Aragon.
