Herkimer Softball Sweeps Jayhawks; Hibbard Record Both Wins

The Herkimer CCC women’s softball team continued its winning ways on Saturday afternoon with a doubleheader sweep over Jamestown CC.  Herkimer won the first game by the score of 11-3 and the second game was 9-1.  Freshman Courtney Hibbard picked up both victories on the mound.  Leading the way for the Generals in game 1 at the plate were Misty Mathis(3-4,4rbi’s) and Dinah Vaveao(2-2,3rbi’s).  Game 2, the generals were led by Amber Swanston who went 3-4 with a double, triple and 3 rbi’s.
