Herkimer Softball Helps With Thankgiving Meals; Teams Up With Catholic Charities

The Herkimer County Community College women's softball team showed their appreciation for the local community by teaming up with Catholic Charities and lending a helping hand at the Thanksgiving dinner at the Church of the Annunciation's Parish Center in Ilion. Pictured are members of the softball team dishing out food for delivery with help from HCCC basketball player Leslie Augustine who also volunteered his time. Women's Softball Coach PJ Anadio, formerly an assistant baseball coach, began helping with this annual dinner a few years ago with the men's team, and wanted to continue the tradition with the women's softball team.
