Terzi And Fox Named To All Region and All Conference Team

Herkimer County Community College women's basketball team recently had two players named to the All Region and All Mountain Valley Conference team. 

Senior Courtney Terzi (Little Falls, NY) was selected as a second team all region and first team All Conference. Terzi leads the Generals in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage and foul shooting percentage. Coach John Campagna said "Courtney is a leader and one of the most complete players I have ever coached."

Senior Samantha Fox (Cooperstown, NY) was a second team All Region and All-Conference selection. Fox averaged 4.3 blocks per game during her two years at Herkimer. As a freshman, she was a third team All Region player and a first team All Conference selection. "Sam has been one of the best post players to ever play at Herkimer. She is a difference maker and a game changer," said Campagna.

Herkimer begins regional play on Friday, February 26 at 8:00 p.m. in the Region III quarterfinals against Mohawk Valley Community College. HCCC is the number seven seed. All regional games are played at Cayuga Community College in Auburn, NY.
