Late Second Half Rally Pushes Herkimer Women's Basketball To Victory

The Herkimer women's basketball team got a late second half push to defeat Cayuga CC 77-69.  Herkimer led by 18 points early in the second half, but Cayuga rallied to take an eight point lead with seven minutes to play.  The Generals put together a rally of their own outscoring the Spartans 23-7 over the final seven minutes to win 77-69.  Jessica Brawn (Hamilton) and Courtney Terzi (Little Falls) combined for 35 points and Samantha Fox (Cooperstown) added 12 points and 17 rebounds.The win improves the Generals to 7-3 on the season.
