Herkimer Women's Basketball Dominates In New Year Opener

Herkimer opened the second semester of play by defeating Schenectady Community College 73-28.  The Generals had four players in double figure scoring led by Samantha Fox (Cooperstown) 14 points, Courtney Terzi (Little Falls) 12 points, Tiffany Pope (Adirondack HS) 11 and Jennifer Lighthall (Holland Patent) 10 points.  Aniya Webb had an outstanding game for the hosts by scoring 9 points, dishing out 8 assists, and collecting 7 steals.  Schenectady was by Alisha Zink and Leigha Motta each scoring 10.
