Herkimer Women's Basketball Rides Broncos To Victory; Remains Unbeaten In Conference Play

The Herkimer women's basketball team stayed unbeaten in conference play defeating SUNY Delhi 56-40.  Herkimer has now won seven in a row.  The Generals were led by Courtney Terzi (Little Falls) 18 points and Samantha Fox (Cooperstown) added 14.  Herkimer jumped to a 10-0 lead early in the game and Delhi battled back to trail 21-19 at the half. Shanay Bradley led Delhi with 14 points (10 in the first half) but was held to only 4 points the rest of the way by outstanding defense by Herkimer's Jennifer Lighthall.  Herkimer is undefeated in the Mountain Valley Conference with an 8-0 record.
