Herkimer Women's Basketball Wins Home Opener; Terzi Drops 17 points

The Generals won for the second time in as many games defeating Hudson Valley Community College 89-54.  Courtney Terzi (Little Falls) led a well balanced attack with 17 points, 3 assists and 5 rebounds.  Aniya Webb (16 points), Shavonne Simmons (16 points), Samantha Fox (Cooperstown 14 points), and Stacey Salisbury (11 points) all scored double figures for the Generals who led 39-24 at the Half.  Hudson Valley falls to 1-2 on the season and Herkimer will host Jefferson Community College Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
