Herkimer Women's Lacrosse Defeats Spartans

Herkimer women’s lacrosse finished their regular season this weekend with two regional games. On Saturday the general’s hosted Cayuga community college, the general’s played an outstanding game through the middle of the field. The mid fields and attack were able to keep the ball on our offensive end for most of the game with great team work on transitions and ground balls.  Herkimer started this game out very strong scoring 4 goals in less than ten minutes. With having a good jump on the game the general’s were able to take time to move the ball around and work on specific plays.  Lauren Pescetti played a very strong game using her impressive stick skills to move the ball around even while being double teamed for most of the game. She is a true leader on the field and if was very obvious with her impressive stats that game which included 6 goals, 3 assists, 10 draw controls and 15 ground balls.
