Herkimer Women's Lacrosse Falls To The Kats

Sunday the generals traveled to Erie community college for the final game of the 2010 season. After a four hour bus trip to Erie and playing on a field that is much smaller than what they are used to,  the generals started the game slow, allowing Erie to get the first two goals of the game.  This gave Erie the advantage that Herkimer could not regain throughout the remainder of the game.  Kim Vrigian played a good game with 2 goals. She worked very hard the entire game moving the ball around as quickly as possible trying to set up opportunities for Herkimer to score.  Unfortunately the general’s came up short in this game ending their season with a record of 7-5 for the regular season.
