Dianna Ste-Marie was hired as the Head Coach of the women's lacrosse program in 2007. A five-sport athlete at the Town of Webb High School (Old Forge, NY), Ste-Marie played soccer, basketball, and volleyball, and ran cross country and track. Her high school athletic experience sparked her interest in teaching physical education and coaching.
She coached and taught at the high school level for six years. During that period, Ste-Marie coached five undefeated soccer teams and five very successful varsity volleyball teams with three undefeated seasons, three division championships, a sectional championship and a regional championship.
In the fall of 2006, she joined the staff of Herkimer County Community College as a physical education instructor and assistant women's lacrosse coach. In Ste-Marie's first year as head coach of the Herkimer women's lacrosse team, she took her team to second place in the regional tournament which won the team a spot in the national tournament. In 2007, Coach Ste-Marie was also named Region C Coach of the Year.
Coach Ste-Marie was a five-sport athlete in high school and a two sport athlete at the collegiate level. She holds an A.S. from SUNY Morrisville, a B.S. in Physical Education and an M.S. in Adaptive Physical Education from SUC at Cortland.
Makenzie Sager

Makenzie is a Herkimer alumna, graduating in May 2008. She played two years of lacrosse under Dianna Ste Marie, playing both offense and defense, winning the Green and Gold Award in her second year. Prior to entering Herkimer, she was a two sport athlete at Johnstown High School, playing both lacrosse and field hockey, winning two MVP awards.
She is currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Science through
SUNY Empire State.
