Dianna Ste-Marie
Dianna Ste-Marie was hired in 2007 as the Head Coach of the women's lacrosse program. A five-sport athlete at the Town of Webb High School (Old Forge, NY), Ste-Marie played soccer, basketball,volleyball and ran cross country and track. Her high school athletic experience sparked her interest in teaching physical education and coaching.
In the fall of 2006, she joined the staff of Herkimer County Community College as a physical education instructor and assistant women's lacrosse coach. This was after six years of teaching and coaching at the high school level. Ste-Marie coached five undefeated soccer teams and five very successful varsity volleyball teams with three undefeated seasons, three division championships, a sectional championship and a regional championship. In Coach Ste-Marie's first year as head coach of the Herkimer women's Lacrosse team, she took her team to compete and place second in the regional tournament which won the team a spot in the national tournament. In 2007, Coach Ste-Marie was also named Region C Coach of the Year.
Coach Ste-Marie was a five sport athlete in high school as well
as a two sport athlete at the collegiate level. Ste-Marie
holds an A.S. from SUNY Morrisville and a B.S. in Physical
Education and M.S. in Adaptive Physical Education from SUC at
Cortland.
