Herkimer Women's Soccer Preys On The Saints; Wins Eleventh Game To Remain Undefeated

The HCCC women's soccer team took a long road trip today to Saranac Lake to face North Country CC. Herkimer came out victorious with a 7-2 margin to remain undefeated on the season. The first half of play saw three different Herkimer athletes scoring including Krista Stubba, Chelsea Fancett and Ashleigh Tracy, Maria Scerra also added 2 assists. During the second half, Scerra added two goals of her own as well as Stubba and Katie Monahan finding the net for Herkimer. Amanda Peek, Chelsea Hayes and Stubba also recorded an assist in the second half. Amber Swanston had 8 saves in goal for the day to keep the Lady Generals undeated with a 11-0-0 overall record. Herkimer is back in action on Wednesday at Mohawk Valley CC at 4 pm.
